Respiratory disorders pose a significant health burden globally, necessitating the widespread use of respiratory products. Proper labeling of these products is essential for patient safety and regulatory compliance. This study aimed to assess the compliance of respiratory product labels with 'The Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945' guidelines. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on the labels of various tablets, rotacaps, and respules collected from community pharmacies. Parameters such as drug name, official monographs, net weight, active ingredients, manufacturer details, batch number, manufacturing license number, and expiration date were evaluated. The study found varying levels of compliance across different parameters, highlighting areas for improvement. While certain aspects, like mentioning the drug name and manufacturer details, showed high compliance rates, others such as including caution and warning statements, exhibited lower adherence.
